I go through a lot of rivets on my flight case builds.
I ususally buy from toolstation, but have been having some difficulty recently where the rivets would break if I rivet too slow (the stick is under tension for too long and it breaks off). The rivets have to go through wood sometimes (securing aluminium to wood), when I do that I like to go slow to avoid the washer falling off on the other side.
toolstation: £3 for 100 (£7.50 for 250)

screwfix: £16 for 250

I haven't used screwfix riverts but I think they're probably more suitable for my job and won't break when I have to rivet slowly to avoid kicking the washer off the other side.
Looked everywhere can't find it cheaper. Any suggestions on somewhere cheap?

Re: cheapest place to buy 4.8 x 20mm rivets
Thanks a lot, works out £6 per 250 delivery included!
I just hope they're better than toolstation quality.

For 4.8 x 20mm, we use Sariv aluminium countersunk headed rivets.

Consistent quality and I've never known a pin shear.
I think we get ours from a supplier in Scotland as being the cheapest but I've no idea of the name.

I bought 1250 of these, compared to the toolstation ones they look better quality and the mandrel is 3-4mm longer so it should snap less.
