Old / odd leads / charger

Post by Someone-Else »

Confess, what old and odd leads do you have?

I am having another clear out and I have just binned

White and yellow phono to 3.5mm male jack

USB to mini USB lead

Blackberry charger

Nokia phone charger

Red, white, yellow phono to 3.5mm jack

USB to mini USB lead (yes, another one)

? to same ? cable (No idea what its for)

? to same ? cable (No idea what its for) Yes, seem I have (had) two of them

Red Phono socket, Green Phono socket Blue Phono socket to Green 3.5mm jack

Computer mouse

Red socket, white socket, yellow phono socket to 3.5mm jack

What looks like pc monitor plug to what looks like mouse plug (not USB) lead

Small Nokia phone charger

Monitor plug to Monitor plug lead

UHF aerial cable (Connect VCR to TV) yes, one of them.

If you have any of the above, why are you still keeping them?
Above are my opinions Below is my signature.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

I confess to about 20 bits of cable with moulded plugs on, all cut from discarded electrical equipment over years, and all kept 'cos they 'might come in useful for something' - they never do, but I keep them.

And, over the last few years, I've taken down a number of TV aerials, now useless, of course, and I'm never quite able to throw away the U-brackets that held the aerial to the pole - though I've never yet found a use for them.

I must confess to keeping a selection of old leads as well as other stuff.... "Just in case"

And on more than one occasion have used them in customers homes...... :huray:

I'm looking for one of these. I want to download old recordings from the camera to a computer.
If anybody has one lying around I'll happily buy it.

Righty-ho..... THIS is what I dug out...... if the small 'stereo' plug is the right size I reckon it's worth a shot at using.

Waddayathink? FOC - send me a PM with posting info if you think it'll work.

I tend to bin old stuff when I see it so my collection is not too bad but I think my house is a breeding ground for old Nokia chargers. I only had 3 Nokia phones over the years but it feels like every second plug in my house is a Nokia charger even though I have binned about 20 of the things over the years
