Hello,
What is the best/easiest way of fitting window boards? I saw someone on a DIY show demonstrating a neat way of doing this but cannot remember what they did.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Fitting window boards
A good way to fix them and a easy way is to first cut the board to the correct size, place it on the window ledge using plastic packers etc. to get it level. Carefully remove the board and then apply a small amount of expanding foam ( a professional foam gun is best ), ensuring you do not apply too much foam!
Place the board on the foam and weight it down with something suitably heavy such as a tool box or large tins of paint, leave the foam to set and it will securely hold the board in place.
