Making aluminium chassiseseseses

Post by kellys_eye »

I would like to bend aluminium (16g max) to create a four-sided chassis (box) shape. Ideally I'd like to make this with additionally folded-in 'lips' as per the picture.

What is the 'machine' used for this kind of work called? and is there a 'baby version' suitable for home users?

Anyone got any experience of bending? (Wes?)
