Log stores

Post by mailee »

I built these recently and got them delivered so thought I would get a photo of them out of the workshop. My customer is going to give them a coat of timber treatment before moving them into place.

They look very good but is there enough ventilation?

There's a big hole in the front?

 sorry I couldn't resist. Seriously from the pic I see a slatted base and the eaves look to be open as well.

They look very nice and as I am about to make a log store for under my kitchen window it has given me some ideas.

The log store I shall be making is just for logs that will go on the burner that week rather than drying out the logs so lack of ventilation is not an issue.

I'm not sure!
It was part of a long list of jobs he wanted doing - in the end I did it all on day rate, so that was ok.

The Barman says, "I'm sorry, we don't serve time travellers". This time traveller walks into a bar.
