New monitor.....
This is going to take some getting used too!!!!!
Got my new monitor and a video card (which I found under a bed, oddly) to power it and I'm not 100% I'm going to get along with it, which is very sad!!!!
Left is an old one on the desktop - 19" (1280x1012)
Middle one is the new one - 29" Dell (2560x1080)
The two on the right are my work laptop and a second screen above (another 19" wide screen LG W1941S).
It looks quite small, but it's big enough to have two browsers side by side with full content. Adjustable in height and with built in USB hub, it's quite nice.
Just need to get some new speakers....this doesn't come with any sadly.

Errr.........maybe!Chop wrote:Have you got Judge Judy on the screen on the left BG?
I just leave it on while I'm working, gives me a sense of time! At least it wasn't a special interest video.

Haha! Looks a good set up, I have my work cut out just concentrating one screen at a time!

You'll need a head shaped like Stewie (Family Guy) to watch that!

Re: New monitor.....
Sadly not, I've been away so much recently I'm packing 3 days into one - would be nice to be home for the weekend and no spend it sleeping/packing again. Takes the joy out of it all.
Up, work and home.

Re: New monitor.....
Depends on what it's being connected too really.
If it's VGA, then it'll usually be good for quite a few things (laptops, CCTV DVRs, PC's). Not many freeview/etc will work with them (plus different resolutions make it less than ideal).
You could always connect it to your own computer BA if you have desk room? I ALWAYS use a minimum of two computers - makes work, etc much nicer. If you are using Windows and your video card has the socket, plug it in - away you go!
