Cox mastic gun for me,the best guns by far.
Carpentry,I can explain it to you but I cannot understand it for you.

+1 on the Cox Powerflow gun:
Widely available, affordable (£17 to £19), but widely copied. Often badly. If it doesn't say "Cox" on the gun, then it isn't, so don't buy it! Mine is now about 3 years old. Oh, did I mention that it's British?

You do need to clean them from time to time - and scrape the rust off the rod/sand off with some alox scratch

yes a course file or sandpaper works on solo clamps as well

Another vote for Cox here, best guns around. The only problem with silicone guns is the site magpie..........

cox for me too. just a standard one like. got me name written on it too. got sick of a decent gun dissapearing and a runbbish one being left instead decorators speciallity is that

This is the best gun I've EVER used, its solid as can be, nice and cheap and has 3 plunger rods, it's quite heavy but you can feel the quality, I think the only thing that would bend or break it would be if I ran over it with the van...

That's the one I have, I got tired of the welds cracking on the cheaper ones and as you say that's pretty tough.
