Ps4 or Xbox one??

Post by steviejoiner74 »

hi guys, the kids are harping on about a new console for Crimbo and I'm seeking on some advice as to which is best or are they basically the same thing in a different box!?
A PC ain't an option either,I know they are better but the console will be set up in the living room.
Carpentry,I can explain it to you but I cannot understand it for you.

A boy i work with has the xbox one and he said if you buy a new game you got to install the game to the hard drive. Also you cannot play old xbox games on the xbox one.

First thing to do is go and try the controllers as I hate the feel of the xbox 360 controller and much prefer the playstation controllers.

I don't know mate, 6 of one and half a dozen of the other isn't it? Mine have always had Playstations but that was because most of the eldest lads mates had playstations too so they could swap and lend games. I couldn't tell you which to go for as I don't have either of the new ones, but personally I never got on with the Xbox controllers. Too many buttons!

Wow, ditto ^^

Buy them a game of Pong,,,, the original , one and only computer game..... The look on their little faces on Christmas morning as they open the present,,, Priceless.

Watch them thrill at the advanced graphics capability. Listen in awe at their excited ooh's and aah's. Hours of harmless fun. Breaks the ice at retro parties.

Should the post title not be "Geek or Geekier"?

There's little to chose between the consoles - actually they're both very disappointing in terms of frame rates and resolution which is why certain game devs are limiting features on PC games in order to bring them down to the consoles level!!

You need to get whichever one your kids mates are getting so they can all play online together
