Attaching a pram to a wheelchair

Post by Rasputin101 »

Me and the wife are expecting our first baby but I need to be able to attach a pram to a wheelchair that my wife is in.
I'm totally useless when it comes to any form of DIY so was wondering if anyone had any ideas?
I thought some locking clips of some kind welded to some poles so we could easily pop the pram on and off.
The problem is I have no idea where to find the clips and was hoping there might be an easy on, easy off solution without compromising the structure of either the pram or the chair.
This really is a very novice question and I've no idea even if I've put it in the correct section of the forum.

Thanks in advance

I have found this journal, not sure if it will help and a bit old. If you want to make something maybe look at a supermarket trolley as sometimes they connect to wheelchairs.

you would need some sort off swing arm with a pivot at each end allowing say an 8" vertical movement for going on and off pavements and deviation in surfaces

i am sure kits will be available from people who have made all the mistakes and had all the accidents for you

i am very good at solving problems like this but wouldnt even contemplate a diy job as a child is to precious
