Looking for a PDF maker type program..free
As per the title, I'd like to be able to create PDF documents from scanned items (job sheets/instruction manuals)
Anyone know of a simple to use program that doesn't charge or change every setting on the 'puter when you download ??
Google gives a few options...so I'm looking for a personal recommendation..
TIA

A bit late, but I use This
It is set up as a "printer" so when you have typed out what ever it is you want to convert to PDF you just tell your word document to print it, but select the PDF printer and it will convert it all to PDF

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.
If gloom had a voice, it would be me.

You'll just have to add all the info into a writer document, if that is scanned images then copy the images in and make each one fit a page (essentially making an A4 picture of each image), once you have them in the correct order and looking right you can do as BG said, export as PDF and voila.
It's great for emailing invoices, I write out the invoice using writer, I use a combination of tables and "live" office Calc spreadsheets so any figures I enter are automatically calculated for me. I can then create a PDF from this and email to the customer, means they can't edit my invoice and try and swindle me later :)

I used to write invoices in excel, then "select print area" and print it as PDF for the same reason.
