Hi All. I am about to start out as a handyman. I would like to incorporate a professional system into the day to day running.
This would include quoting, invoicing, a database of customers etc. I would like to use I Pad on the road and or laptop at home.
Any suggestions on software or apps. Thanks

Open Office is perhaps the most popular non-licence (i.e. free) application that can do everything you want..... providing you're reasonably familiar with spreadsheet construction.

Re: What software for business use
I use open office, covers all my needs for spreadsheets, text documents and allows me to create PDF invoices quite easily.
