Re: New Bathroom
Hi,
Excellent job and a shame to use it. Well done in tackling something new and succeeding; your good lady will be most impressed and now finding other jobs for you? Gone are the old days when a guy stuck to one job; these days a competent DIY'er can do anything.
Kind regards, Col.

Re: New Bathroom
Could I ask how you went about boxing in the soil pipe by the bath? It looks like you have screwed a baton to the wall on each side, but then how is the 'floating baton' held in place? Is it just the boarding that is holding it up?
Don't forget to take lots of pics over the weekend - good luck!

Looks good. I did my bathroom a couple of years ago, and I wish I it looked like that!

Yeah its just the boarding that's holding it in place just now as am not sure the height of the bath will be as I want it to run level so will finish that off once the bath is in then will be tiled over.
Never thought there was as much work in bathroom until now hats off to the guys that do this on a daily basis

And please don't say there is so much work involved in redoing a bathroom!

I have been saying I will do our one this spring/summer and it won't be a big job and there is no need to get someone in.....what am I letting myself in for!
Good luck over the weekend - I am sure it will turn out fantastic!
If my reply has helped at all please feel free to hit the 'Thanks' button at the bottom right of my post ;-)
