I bought the Drive Socket set a couple of years ago & it's been a great wee bargain. Really handy for the back of the van or could proudly grace any workshop....... :thumbright:

I have used the pillar drill and the multitool, both are very good and excellent value for money, the drill is cheap for the motor alone!

I'm tempted by the pillar drill, so may have to drop in the tomorrow morning

is ok Dickie i meant to post about this set as monday i went and got one and is a great little set as you said.
Bit of a mini review for you all.
Is a 1/4" drive but also a go though set so if you have threaded bar or a long bolt you can pass the socket over it like a spanner comes with a adaptor so you use normal 1/4" drive sockets. the size range is from 4.5 mm to 13mm a long reach go though 13mm socket as well. Normal style 1/4 drive 13 mm socket universal joint and 4" extension bar hex bit adaptor 10 hex bits and a 1/4" drive screw driver handle (not sure of the technical name  ) all in a nice case. Not had time to use it for real yet but had a play with it on a couple of things and seams to be a nice action and very sturdy am sure it will make it in to my work tool box soon and maybe even have to pick some up for the rest of the lads there to save them "borrowing" mine :cussing:

The LIDL multi tool blades look to be compatible with the Aldi Multi tool
