blur on my computer
i seem to have blur on my computer
it is now asking me to register to remember my passwords which are already remembered via firefox
is there any pros and cons to doing so

Doesn't sound right to me... sounds like you have a problem, possibly some malware ?
Install/run Mbam and see what that finds..
Also have a look for any "Rogue" programs you may have installed (Control panel > all programs) check for any new additions that you don't recognise..

My bank suspected my account was compromised and ask me to click the link and verify my details. Right get on to that straight away, like hell!!!

Do you have the "Snipping tool" installed on your version of windows ??
If so take a snip and post up what the message is exactly.;

Right so click on start (windows key) top right is an icon like a magnifying glass, click on that, then type "Snipping tool"
Do this when the pop up asking for your login details appears..then click on "New" drag the on screen cursor around the outside of the box that asks you to register your passwords, save.
Then attach it to a post...

Click on "Full editor" at the bottom of the reply box, select browse, a box will open with pics from your computer in it, select the snip you have taken, click "Open" then "Add the file" then post as normal...
