I only know of it as a German tradition myself. Was he from the east/German part of Switzerland?
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

You must be on EST then? UK is 5 hours ahead of you, rest of Europe is 6 Hours

Healthwise, so far, so good. But as the wife has MS, that could all change. But at least, the turkeys all done ready for the oven. Our kits are grown up, one has left home, other one is out, so it's up to us. But Mrs M is VERY impatient, so she'll probably open hers at Midnight, I'll wait til tomorrow.

They're all playing on the Wii and are very pleased!

Panlid,

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who took ages to set it up, in our case about 20 minutes. My two are busy saving Princess Peach on Mario Galaxy.
