Christmas cakes

Mrs H made our cake this year....

Laced with copious amounts of cherry brandy.
Decorating is simple, but it looks pretty cool.

The icing looks a bit rough though :lol:

Hitch,

I bet the cake will taste good if it has been fed with cherry brandy, never used it myself. I didn't make one this year. I have a photo of a child friendly one that I did a few years ago, my children wanted an igloo style one for a change. I'll have a look for it tomorrow.

This is the first year mrs.woody has'nt made a cake for x-mas, as there's only 2 of us at home now :grin: there's no point say's she who must be obeyed. :sad:

Just spent the last 8hrs cooking for the next couple of days and just got time to finish off the cake - actually the cake was made by Mrs Ski but I did the marzipan and icing :roll:
