BTW I have a friend who works in the trade and ended up getting this for £196.99
So a good deal in the end
I can treat the Mrs to a Chinese tonight with the money I saved :)

These Dewalt cordless drills are not combi drills, they have no hammer action. Or am I missing something?

Mines has hammer action and was 209 quid with 2 x 4ah batteries. It's not the xrp model which is heavy duty but I really only put screws in with mine and the odd red rawl plug.
Here is the model I got,it's 200 notes on Amazon now,no doubt cheaper elsewhere. It's worth it for the batteries alone IMO.

Buy Dewalt 18V Lithium-Ion 2-Speed Combi Drill from Amazon's DIY & Tools store. Low prices on a wide range of DIY & Tools products.
