A really annoying feature of the digicams that I have used, it the ease with which the function dial turns. So I whip the camera out for a quick shot, then find it's set to video, not Auto still! Should be simple to design a locking device, my Canon video camera dial has a small button in the centre which has to be held down before you can turn it.
