Anyone recommend a value for money blade to put in for nice cutting plywood?
Looks like it takes 165mm blades with a 20mm centre hole. I've not tried it yet but I assume the 24 tooth blade it came with isn't going to give the cleanest of cuts.

Re: Parkside Plunge/Track Saw
It's not great but for a stock blade it is ok. Certainly good enough for rough work.Grumbledook wrote:Anyone recommend a value for money blade to put in for nice cutting plywood?

Re: Parkside Plunge/Track Saw
There was one left in my store but I decided against it. I bought the impact driver and nailer/stapler instead.

Re: Parkside Plunge/Track Saw
I managed to the the last one in the store I went in to guy behind me at the till have one and a impact driver as well had a look at my managers one when i got back to the yard and it looks to to be the same as the scheppach pl55 so going on screwfix prices saved £140 as they want £199.99 for the same kit. Going to invest in some more rail and a couple of spare blades for mine

btw festool blades are 160mm i think. so they may mess with the cut depth by a couplea mm. there are 160mm and 165mm blades available with the same size centre bore. but its only a couplea mm so nowt to complain about.

Re: Parkside Plunge/Track Saw
I got my stapler, not tried it yet, but it does look light for site work.
