anyone know of a barcode scanner than actually gives you the prices in GBP

Not many (any?) Barcodes include pricing as this is usually derived from the retailers database so they can adjust pricing accordingly without having to change the barcode.

For this reason I doubt whether the pricing shown on any decoded barcode is actually 'valid'.

Thay are around but only showing EUR or USD mostly the later

Hi,

No barcode should include any pricing info. What you need is a scanner that searches google etc in the UK.

The one I use is by ZXing and in that you can set the search country

Yes ,database is useful to barcode scanner.
