Rugby World Cup 2015

Post by dewaltdisney »

I enjoyed the opening Ceremony and England had a good first game against Fiji. Looks like there will be some great games coming up. Football, take a look at what proper refereeing is about and footballers see what a load of pansies you are.

Your right there DWD, I am not really a football fan for the reasons you state, I have had the privilege of going to Twickenham a couple of times and the atmosphere is fantastic, you can buy a cheap radio to hear what the ref says to the players, the video replay saves all the arguments and you know if a player falls down and stays down he is genuinely hurt.

What really impressed me though there was copious amounts of beer being consumed by the supporters before and during the game and I never see any trouble, even after when both lots of fans were sharing buses and trains home.

Yes, it is a middle class game and does it notice. Mixed groups of supporters, women and children and even with drinks permitted there is no trouble. So yes, it is a clear definition of social standing in the majority who follow the sport.
