That drywall sander looks interesting!
It doesn't need a vac either, which is intriguing!

Agreed. Can't see any sand papers listed for it though.
Would want to be sure of a source for papers before buying the sander.
Anyone bought one and know if it will take 'standard' paper available from screwfix or the like?
...or does it not use sandpaper?

Re: Aldi tools event 27th September
that laser distance measurer would be good if its got decent accuracy. i use a leica disto d110 but another would be handy for the tool box if its accurate to nearest mm. ive got a laser range finder but its only accurate to a nearest cm

I bought the big SDS for £40 the last time it was on offer, it's a great drill & I carry it in the van all the time. Being 240vac I can't use it on-site but for wee domestic jobs it's fab!! Certainly gets my recommendation.....

I have had one for several years now, I don't use it that often but it does perform when required. Hard concrete/brick is no trouble for drilling and it did a sterling job chipping out a concrete floor in a confined space. £40 is less than hire price around here.

i picked the laser measure up. says its accurate to +\- 1.5mm so it seems to be almost as good as the leica. it has more stuff on it too. worth a bash for £30 like
