iPhone 5 - U2 album

Post by ultimatehandyman »

I have one song on my iPhone that I bought- time to say goodbye by Andrea Bocelli & Sarah Brightman

I don't mind paying for the one song as when I die they can play it at my funeral, then there is no messing about.

Anyway tonight I was messing about with the kids and opened my music folder and there is now a U2 album in there called "Songs of innocence", which contains 11 songs.

I can guarantee that I have not downloaded or paid for it, so I'm now wondering how the hell it has ended up on my phone?

I listened to the first song and it was proper crap, not like U2's old stuff when they were good :dunno:

I remember there was a big hoo haa about this - U2 gave their album away free on itunes, so if you had the phone it came with it.

Yes, it came on my IPad the other day too via YouTube I think. I was concerned as it had an album picture that looked like a couple of arse punchers. I deleted it as I thought it might be dodgy.

I already have done :thumbright:

I can't believe the cheek of them.

Actually I saw it at a good time as I have just sussed out how to put videos on my iPhone

I'm sick of trying to show people videos that I have uploaded to YouTube when you can't get a decent connection.

These smart phones and 4G are a complete con. I can't remember actually going anywhere where I can get a decent connection to watch say a video on YouTube etc. You are lucky if you can even get an internet connection at all.

Then people take the p!ss out of me because I prefer the desktop computer to my phone. On several occasions I have tried searching the internet on my phone and have given up- then waited till I got to the computer. I like technology that works

I must be lucky,I live in a relatively rural area and the 4g is awesome,I get around 90g speed. My bt crappy broadband gives me about 5/6g on a good day!

Oh and has anyone noticed how fast the battery drains on the iPhone when updated to iOS 9.1!!!!
Carpentry,I can explain it to you but I cannot understand it for you.
