I have some wall tiles in my kitchen that do not match the current theme. Ideally I would like to remove the tiles and just paint the area where they were and get an acrylic low splash back instead.
Is it possible to remove the tiles and get a surface that may need filling in places etc... then paint or do you think removing the tiles will do too much damage with the tile adhesive an all...
Is it possible to plaster over the tiles without using plasterboard first?

Re: Removing Tiles
The tiles front onto external brick walls. I would assume they are mounted onto dot and dab plasterboard.

Re: Removing Tiles
Depends of stuck on they are. In most cases if the tiles are on plasterboard they will destroy it.
