extending cable

Post by Stufran »

hi
just another quick one

following on from a question i asked earlier in the week regarding new light fitting.

i need to extend a lighting circuit in my kitchen with no access from above or below i'm going to connect some cable to the existing 1.5 mm two core and earth light circuit.

im going to use terminal blocks but could some one confirm which size i need for a circuit with a 6 amp fuse and 1.5 mm cable?

Whichever ones you use, it must be larger than the fuse rating.

I would of thought that 5 amp terminal connectors would be suitable, but 15 amp will give you a bit more room to get your wires in.
