My favorite was a Banana and Golden syrup, when I was working we tried to get to a sandwich shop that did a breakfast sandwich, ie Bacon, sausage, egg, tomatoes, mushroom and black pud, in a large teacake, nightmare to eat, but kept you going for a while. Nos

nah, gramps got the cup to dip his bread'n in, i got the saucer and his left over crust (unless he had his teeth in when I got nowt)!

I'm definitely gone use the word "piece" from now on. I think the last time it was said in Stoke was circa 1976
