LOUNGE & DINNING ROOM DOUBLE DIMMERS

Hi we have just bought a house that needs complete rewire and i am ok on all apart from this bit so heeelp .
I need to fit dimmer switches in both loung & dinning room and i want both switches to work either light, as i said i am ok with one light one switch but this is confusing ? i have run a switch return to one light and three core earth to the other switch. The switches are 2 way 2 gang dimmers.

You can't use normal dimmers in a 2-way switching circuit (well - you can, sometimes, but you won't get the behaviour you want.)

You need to use a master/slave product such as the Varlight.
