BillyGoat, the little single battery chargers ain't that reliable, I often get them as part of pack (tool, batteries, charger ect.) and never use them as I've got the 6 port charger (BCS618) it does all the ONE+ batteries and does maintenance too. Probably £100 but if you've already invested in a few tools and batteries it could be worth it.

If you don't get any luck with the retailers I've got a new single charger in the shed (BCL1418H) you can have, just pm me your address.

The battery manufacture dates are in week/year format, just checked mine and I've got a week 6 year 2010 Lithium 2.4 Ah which still works well

decent batteries go on for years i have some over 10 year old still going strong if not with a slightly reduced capacity
