router table

I have just made a new table top for my router table stuck two 18mm slabs together and edge it with real wood then put laminate on, cut out for fence guides and router lift, but i have always had a problem with over heating with the router being in a confined space so i sat there looking at it wondering then i got it my router has vent holes at the top so i cut a 100mm hole in the back of the cupboard which the router table top sits on, fed a 100mm hose through enough to make it go under then up to cover the vent hole and held it there with tie's cut it level with the back of cupboard, turned on router and glory be the wind that came up and out the top of table was great so here's a couple of pics maybe someone else can use the idea ,i'm sure some of you already done it, i ran it for 5 mins and seemed really good but not used it yet under load i'm full of hope, as you can see in the pic the tissue is being sucked in quite hard,

as long as it won't get as hot as before i'll be happy
