i went down and picked a set up. i had some vouchers too as i opened up an account. so i got it for £20 rather than £30

They've closed the Sparkfix & Plumbfix counter at my local Screflux. Well there's a big sign saying open 7 days over the locked door, but I'd to Q with all the Daftdiyers at the normal counter to get my stuff. F.ck that, I'll not be back!

When I opened my plumbfix account it was at the Dunfermline branch they have the separate trade counter through another door. Since moving house the Greenock branch does not have that facility. Its something you get used to, queuing with those housewife's that bring in some piece of scrap / junk looking for a replacement which neither they or the store staff have any clue about.
I always order online and just go in to collect its way quicker that way.
To be fair the local store do have a lot of staff on most of the time and queues are diminished quickly.
But if there was a trade counter I would use it, and feel smug doing so.

Too right, I'm a Tradesman & if they want my business I get priority treatment, ahead of the coffin Dodgers, handymen, DaftyDIYers & riff raff. Prices were always cr.p in Screwflux anyway, so no great loss.
