Caleffi trv valve head replacement
Hi, is it possible to change just the trv head for a different manufacturer or should it be like for like? I have been searching on the Web but they don't seem easy to find, can anyone point in the right direction. Reason for change is that it's dicoloured.

You'd need to try it, but unlikely would be my best guess.
Perhaps if you contact the first link they May tell you what is interchangeable.

Also do you know about these? I was sent 22mm in error through eBay and I can send back for a full refund, I'm going to use it for washing the dog in the garden. Instead of sending it back could I not fit some 22 to 15mm reducers without affecting performance? They have offered me a bulldog mixer which is apparently the same.

Yes An Endex 22x15 N6 will fit straight into the compression fittings, ( need to solder the 15mm end)
YS6 is the same fitting with solder rings, so clean, flux and heat.
The valve should be ok for what you want with a controlled temperature, best fit isolating valves on the hot and cold inlets

Re: Caleffi trv valve head replacement
Is it worth sending back for the bulldog valve or just keep this one and use your recommendation? Also this unit comes with non return valves, I would need to Install two single check valves for wras?thescruff wrote:Yes An Endex 22x15 N6 will fit straight into the compression fittings, ( need to solder the 15mm end)

Re: Caleffi trv valve head replacement
You have it I would use it, there isn't a lot of difference in price if I remember.
If the check valves are built in you don't need additional ones. If anything fit a check just before the handset hose
