Received a few offers from Amazon this morning and noticed this electric brad nailer
https://www.amazon.co.uk/VonHaus-Cordle ... W673HPDER3
It's by far the cheapest electric nailer i've seen (currently on offer) and looks fairly decent

As a general tool these aren't bad, but if you intend to use one as a pinner/nailer I should warn you that the driver "pins" on dual-purpose tools like these are quite wide and will leave an unsightly mark on any surface you are pinning. This makes them unsuitable for neat work.

My combo nailer stapler does this if you are not careful. Fine for hidden work but if I want a neat job I just dial it back so it leaves the nail a bit proud and then finish with a hammer and set.Job and Knock wrote:As a general tool these aren't bad, but if you intend to use one as a pinner/nailer I should warn you that the driver "pins" on dual-purpose tools like these are quite wide and will leave an unsightly mark on any surface you are pinning. Bit of a pain having to do that, though

Oh yeah, but the amount of fine finish work I do is so minimal it doesn't matter. If it were a regular thing I would buy a dedicated nailer. As it is I use it more for stapling than nailing anyway.Job and Knock wrote:Bit of a pain having to do that, though
