Kitchen cabinet replacement doors

Post by mjw1962 »

I'm having trouble with one set of doors. The screws for back plate of two of the concealed hinges won't tighten into the carcass of the unit. I think one of the old doors had been yanked about at some time and the back plate screws have been pulled out.

Any ideas? Is there any sort of adhesive that will fasten them in?

:welcome: mjw, put a piece of matchstick in the hole and then tighten the screw :thumbright:

if you have 2 hinges back to back drill through and use nuts and bolts or mending plates
