I used the event to watch tonight's Look North - Carol only being a pleasant side line ..... and saw the report on the match.
A very good result and a class above the opposition. They said 15,000 Sand Dancers attended and I can only imagine the atmosphere before and after! Well done that team - and they seem destined to get back into the main league too
But if they got into the big time, where would they have stadium? Can't imagine the fields opposite the New Crown being good enough
super excitednesssssss the rafalution is almost upon ussssss

hah im not sure where they would put it.
maybe temple park? maybe on brinky school site? gypsies green is a bit pointless. maybe work together to build a joint football and athletics stadium there. certainly better than whats currently there.
i missed look north tonight. fingers crossed i can somehow find it. or i could wait for south shields fc to put the match highlights up on their facebook page.
not sure how many fans. ive heard 12-15000 so its gonna be somewhere between. pretty increddible. apparently the pubs all had the game on in south shields and my sis said the whole town was visibly quieter, less traffic etc
the atmosphere inside the ground was amazing. completely different to any game ive been too before. basically because i suppose where normally people would be divided between newcastle and sunderland they were fully behind only one team.
when we were walking up wembley way it was class too and then on the way back all the york and macclesfield fans were on their way into the ground.
absolutely awesome day like
