I've just purchased Makita Cordless Drill DF331DWYE 12V 10mm -- but upon the first try i've already got a problem with the keyless chuck lock...It seems it is not gripping on the drill bit properly especially when the drilling require high amount of pressure to apply for example drilling steel..
So the drill bit just stop while the motor is spinning and it make grinding noise inside the chuck....please help me if this is faulty product so i could return it ASAP to the seller...

Re: Makita Cordless Drill chuck not gripping the drill bit
Hello time_keeper
How big is the drill? How thick is the steel? Are you doing the chuck up really tight? How much pressure are you applying when drilling.
Sorry to reply with a lot of questions, but they all make a difference.
