Kitchen is fairly square apart from 2 alcove for washing machine and refrigerator which I would want tile as well.
Looking to lay largish slabs 60cmx30cm, (if that makes any difference).
Would like to lay tile skirting as well.
I have used mybuilder.com to get quotes and I received quotes of £500 for this job (not including cost of tiles). Seems a bit high, but to be fair these were VATTed construction firms providing quote. Not indies.
How much should this job typically cost.
Also I am a fairly competent DIYer, is this an easy job to do?

Re: cost estimate for 11sqm kitchen floor.
When we had our kitchen/diner tiled all the quotes we had were in the region of £34 to £36 per sq metre all in,that seems to be the trade benchmark .
We paid for the tile adhesive and grout so the tiler just had to supply his labour.

how many thresholds or transitions? who does the prep an rubble dispose.
sites like mybuilder sometimes have a few decent tradespeople but mostly they are useless an leve users hopping mad at being ripped.
