good result for the toon yesterday like. hopfully we can keep it up. this team is easily better than the recent sides containing such superstars as mr sissoko and mr wijnaldum among others.

also south shields have drawn hartlepool united in the 4th qualifying round of the fa cup

if they can beat them then who knows where they will get

Mr Sissoko scored a goal for Spurs on Saturday - and the previous Saturday, the commentary team and pundits were all singing his praises on MotD after we'd beaten the Hammers.

finallyyyyyyyyy the return of premier league action after yet another absolutely horrific international bloody break.

and south shields take on the mighty hartlepool this weekend too. tickets went onsale early wednesday morning and bloody sold out within 3 hours

i hope that man never comes anywhere near the north east again. he remains one of the main reasons we got relegated in the first place. i wouldnt even pick him for tuesday night football

tell ya what when you watch em play theyre mint man. they could well spring a surprise if hartlepool arent at the top of their game. in all likelihood hartlepool will win. but it would be amazing for south shields to progress in the competition onto the first round propper and see who they draw.

its such a shame the tickets sold out so quickly. very likelty that everyone in the queue bought between 5 and 10 tickets each i should imagine. kinda spoils it for others like.

todays game was a disgusting game to watch but the late winner made it that bit more bearable i guess. what a moment that was too

need to up our game though, came perilously close to letting crystal palace have the points today.
