Hoping you can help me, I have a Ford Focus mk3 (61 plate). Was using the rear wiper in the car this morning just fine, went and did some bits and pieces, got back to the car and now its not working. Just dead, no weird noises, no motor strain. Nothing.
I have accessed the motor to check a wire hasn't just come loose, but nothing.
Is this likely the motor? A fusing issue? A switch issue? etc, no other issues with anything else on the car. Kind of want to know its the rear wiper motor before I order the part in. Not sure if any of these are common issues for a focus.
Any help appreciated.

If its dead, I would suggest you check the fuse for it first.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

Re: Ford Focus MK3: Dead rear wiper motor?
First check fuse.
Use a multimeter to check continuity from ground wire to the chassis.
Use multimeter (and long bit of wire) to check continuity from fuse box to positive wire. (this could be tricky because of the relay)
Connect motor directly to 12V supply and see if it works (be careful doing this)
