Nokia N73 worst Phone ever made?
I recently changed my mobile phone for a Nokia N73 as it has lots of useful features, such as internet browsing and Tom Tom can also be installed and used in conjunction with a GPS receiver.
I have had the phone since Christmas and it replaced my Nokia 6230, which was great!
The N73 annoys the hell out of me and is the most annoying thing that I have to use on a daily basis-
Text messages-
You receive a text message that is long, when you scroll down it does not scroll to where you last read, it scrolls down a few lines and then you have to check to find the last line that you read, then when you scroll down again it does it again and you have to find the last sentence that you read.
Then someone sends you a text message that contains a telephone number and you want to store the phone number from the message in your phone. With my old phone I clicked on use detail and then selected the number that I wish to save. With the N73 this option is not there and I have to write down the Fuc$ing number and then type it back in.
With my old phone I received a text message and clicked the large central button to reply, with the N73 I have to click the centre button, then the first option is “call” and so I have to scroll down and click “reply” and then select “via text message”. This is downright annoying.
Battery-
I set off the other day with 4 bars of battery life on the phone, I never used it and three hours later the battery was dead!
Internet-
I needed to check my web mail the other day and so spent 15 minutes negotiating my way to the log in screen. I then logged in and a second later all the screens closed without me doing anything.
Alarm Clock-
On my old mobile I just clicked the top left button and selected alarm clock, then set the time. Now I have to press the “menu button” then select “applications” then select “clock” then press “options” then select “set alarm”
Fuc$ing pile of crap, I have always had Nokia phones, but now I really regret getting this one!

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I have disabled the GPS on mine as when that is switched on it takes ages for web pages to load and I get missed calls and non delivered texts etc.Telmay wrote:I have just got the new Nokia N95 and I dont like it either, what the hell eats the battery? Oh my god I bought UHM that phone!!!!!!!! I said what do you want for Christmas. He says a Nokia N75. I say R U sure. He says yes!! I say have you played on one. He says 3 or 4 people at work have them and I have played with them and that is the phone I want. I buy the phone give it to him at Christmas and now look what he is saying. Any normally intelligent, happy around a PC person would have read all the reviews on the net BEFORE he decided to waste his birds money!
