How big an area do you regularly cut? This will determine your best option really. Mowers are a bit like washing machines these days in that they must be viewed as disposable. Anything goes wrong and it is not cost effective to mess around unless it is simple.

If it's a petrol driven one just make sure it has a Briggs & Stratton engine.
I bought mine a couple of years back from Aldi. I think it's called Gardenline. I use it regularly to cut my grass and my parents and hasn't failed me.

It doesn't mention a B&S engine but seems a good buy and gets good reviews.
