Nissan Micra c+c (K12) roof repair.

I have ordered and will be fitting in a day or two, a hydraulic pipe for the convertible roof as one of the pipes has split.

To save time and clip breaking does anyone know the location of the pump so as panel etc removal can be targeted as opposed to guesswork and searching?

I assume it is behind the seat or in a wheel well?

iirc its in the boot left hand side and its in a hard foam case - use the correct fluid for the pump otherwise you will killit, The fluid is ARAL VITAMOL 4004 or equivalent (Castrol Hyspin 4004)

However, I am having real problems tracking some of the oil you recommend and Castrol themselves say it i not available in UK. It must be around of course but unsure of alternatives and availability as it mostly seems available in 20L cans !?

MB 346.0 Hydraulic 4004 - A 000 989 02 06


MB 346.0 is the Merc standard, the fluid is used with the SL folding roof system

I was around a lot of nissans, and still have the info to hand (well on my backup NAS)
