we had some timber windows and the installers made a bit of a mess...there were large areas of plaster missing...chunks taken out of the bay framework, no fixings - just bits of softwood and foam, the ceiling in the bay was ripped down, the cavities were breached. They said it was quite normal - we said it was excessive.....Any comments??

It is normal to make good to some extent. usually a bit of plaster comes away somewhere. Are they Fensa or a cash job?

I can email a picture but don't seem to be able to upload. They were FENSA and Which Trusted Trader....the ombudsman found in my favour but they wouldn't pay up. We are now in court and they say the damage was normal....
