Digital Multimeter

any advice would be most welcome, as i would like to buy a multimeter just for checking power to sockets plugs etc etc
it is for basic home use only and i have seen them on screwfix website for a tenner, are these any good for what i need it for???? :scratch:

One of these will do what you want, plus at that price if you later find you want better resolution or some other feature (but I doubt that) then you haven't wasted a pot of money.

At around a tenner, a lot cheaper than ten years ago. Go for it, they're good.
I started out with nothing, I still have most of it.
