It's OK but the long way round.

Slightly quicker to go Start > Run, type msconfig and press Enter.

Click the Startup tab and you'll see the same list.

To see what the programs are, drag the small vertical line between Command and Location until you can see the .exe.

Remove the tick from any that don't need to run at startup.

If you're not sure, enter the .exe name into Google to find out.

If you're still not sure, download and run Windows Startup Inspector.

Make sure you're connected to the internet and click Consult.

It checks its online database and will tell you what can be safely removed and do it within the program.
