My New Kitchen
Started with bedroom and onsuite to allow a bolt hole to retreat to away form the mess, that didn’t involve much more than decs in bedroom getting rid of Artex and doing some fitted wardrobes.
Onsuite , complete tile , two hidden cupboards his n hers , wall loo at height to suit her bad back , shower with niche ! And Mira electronic control
Now just about finished Kitchen, wall removed between old kitchen and dining room ( not structural as roof is trusses which were boarded before thermocline wall added. Dug up screed and fitted Under floor heating, cut out back wall with new 3300 catnic for bi folds, new DIY kitchen units , Dektron worktops done other than glass splash back and warming drawer ( or not just a drawer pack with a bit of black glass , not paying 400 sovs for beef drawer we would hardly use and last one lasted for 15 months before it packed up ) all new wiring , for kitchen and generally sorted bungalow wiring , some terrible bodges , just a couple of circuits to swap over form old CCU now and re-run supply from meter cupboard ! Boiler relocated to loft with UHF manifold and pump in my now airing cupboard come plant room , my mate the gas fitter did some interesting stuff with heating when we did the relocate and re run the gas main.
