FUEL CAP SNAPPED OFF WHILE FILLING UPI’m

Hello all, my grateful thanks to forum users who advise me with this issue. So I was filling up my Ford fiesta 2011 a few days ago and as I removed the pump the fuel cap snapped off with itl. I can still fuel up however I have to find a certain angle for it to do so, unless the pump will not work while the cap is broken. Any advice on what this part if actually called, links to diy fixes or advice would be greatly appreciated. Being a student and all Im not sure that I can afford much of a financial hit, unless it wouldn't be an expensive fix?

Is that the bit the cap goes into ? if so you will need a new fuel filler neck

Petrol or diesel ?

edit. a used item on ebay is £30-40

it’s a capless design, but yes it is where the cap would go. It’s where the fuel pump would first enter. Would it be possible to do replace a fuel filler with just a jack on the side of a street? Thanks for your help

And it’s a diesel, let me guess more complicated ?

you will have to get a part number from a main dealer, I can find 4 different fillers for the diesel, I forgot it was self sealing, you may get a light on the dash as the tank will not seal (part of the emissions)

eg. a full filler pipe setup on the fiesta diesel (I will see if the top part is available on the own)
