I am still waiting for a proper SSD "tray" to mount the SSD on, and the power supply cables were too short, and I had trouble getting it to recognise a DLL file (No, I don't know either what it actually does, but the programme I have will not run without it)
I had to call Microsoft to get a registration key for my original XP disc (no problem, they even said keep it for future use)
Its all up and running, has been for about 2 weeks, looking at the SSD its 240 GB and including windows XP and my late friends programme it only uses 4.05 GB, but I am happy.
Not 100% sure on how much it cost, but it was well worth it knowing I have a new PC with my mates programme on it that should last around 10 years minimum.
It really wasnt that much The SSD was £24 and I can't find the case or the MOBO prices, I also got a new mouse and keyboard (£11 ish for the two)
Was it worth it? yes, did I have too much grief? no, would I do it again, yes.
Oh, same old monitor though.
As an aside, now it works, although it only has XP and one programme, it will never go on the www, so no need to worry about any obsolete updates or security risks, it has one job and it does it very well.

I did say in your other thread the ssd will mount to the back of the motherboard tray, and it looks like your missing the drive rails for 3.5" bays
