Re: Lidl 26th May
I have a drill with that battery I bought years ago, it has held up well in my secondary tool bag.

Re: Lidl 26th May
The trousers have kneepad pockets not knee pads.
I already have the version thats not zip off which I got for £10 they are lightweight but if you buy them roomy enough I find that they don't inhibit your movement as much as the heavier worktrousers. Get through a couple of pairs a year. Have had the zip off variant but I didn't zip them off as I use them on the allotment and its your lower legs that get scratched, bitten or hit with stuff from the mower/strimmer. Usually I put scissors in the pocket and they punch through the seam
Will give the jap saw, magnetic stuff, screw extractors, right angle attachment a go. Quite like the look of the jigsaw
Didn't get on with the 3m tape for outdoors so went back to gorilla

Re: Lidl 26th May
Quite tempting don't know how they do it so cheap
Got my eye on the small planner as the Bosch version is around £240
recently I used their 20v cordless SDS (£40) on a job for 2 weeks, it was very lightweight to use all day
got a little warm and grease came out the rubber\Chuck but after a few days use this settled down
although they've got a long warranty You've got to expect they might not last being used in a pro. situation

Re: Lidl 26th May
The 12v puts me off the planer. I reckon it would be underpowered and not last a couple of hours.
I bought two of the Jap saws. They look ok.

Re: Lidl 26th May
i would suspect you would be lucky to get a door or around 15-20 mins out off a 2ah battery[10.6x2x60=1272 w]
so if it uses say200w it will last about 5or6 mins continuous use
