How on earth did they manage this?
Stayed in a Premier Inn over the weekend, recently built and quite a nice hotel really, both PI and Travelodge have upped their game in recent years, they have always been good value but the fit and finish of the hotels has improved too so they are not quite as rough and ready as they used to be.
Anyway I digress. Room was nice, but this picture stood out and I couldn't understand what was going on. The others were fixed using key hole fittings and were secure to the wall (H&S gone mad! ). My curiosity got the better of me and I pulled the picture off the wall to be greeted with this mangled screw. How on earth do you do something like that!?

Yeah possibly. I should have added, this was a PZ4 screw, it was massive so it must have taken some effort!jaeger wrote:Looks to me like it's been crushed using vice grips to turn it.

To be honest they are lucky I did, the thing was on a hair trigger to fall off and hurt someone, I put it back much more securely.
