I recently inherated a load of old carpentry tools and i found this tucked away at the bottom of the box, Does anyone have any ideas what this is? [/img]

I think it's a small hand vice, they were issued to us 'Lecky's in the RN, some of use used them to hold small items for cutting rather then a large vice.
They could be held in a larger vice if rrequired.

The left hand side is for levering the nuts out of undies and the other end crimps them. It's a Victorian fathers tool, "You wont make my daughter pregnant you cad" :lol:
